Last year we gave my father-in-law and my sister-in-law soup of the month club. Each month we brought them each frozen soups that we had made and they both loved it. She particularly enjoyed November soup the most and said we should sell it! Since my father-in-law lives alone, we felt good that he had an alternative to canned soup.

Oooh! Nice giveaway! My favorite kind of gifts is tickets to go see a show with the person to which I'm giving the gift... I find that you often forget what object you received but you remember having a nice evening out with a friend or family member. Of course, home made gifts are also good memories.

What a great giveaway! My favorite gift was the picture book that my boyfriend and I wrote and made last year for his (then) 4.5 year old nephew. We incorporated all of his nephew's favorite obsessions from dinosaurs to pirates to Santa and made him the hero of the story. It was great and he absolutely loved it!

What a nice giveaway! My favorite gift I've given was a painting I had done of our daughter that I gave to my husband. She was in a wooden boat cradle that he built for her and it was a total surprise to him.

Wow - I'm so impressed with this. KF is one of my all-time favs, and I've thought about making this quilt. Even your back looks awesome.

Any advice for someone who may start this pattern?
